Every illustration began as a pencil drawing by Patricia House before being outlined in ink and carefully painted in acrylics. The completed artwork was professionally printed to create the Tarot House Deck.
First published in 2011 and printed in the United Kingdom by Cartamundi, this is the original first-edition deck from which Simply Tarot grew. Its clear, expressive pictures were created to support both learning and everyday reading without overwhelming the meaning of the cards.

The Major Arcana and Minor Arcana court cards are fully illustrated picture cards. The Minor Arcana pip cards, from Ace to Ten, are semi-scenic: their colours, figures and visual details suggest the character and atmosphere of each card while leaving space for the reader’s own observations.
