The Tarot deck we use on Simply Tarot is called The Tarot House Deck and it is our very own! The images were designed, drawn and painted in acrylics by Patricia. People love the vibrancy of the colours and the simple representation of the card meanings, the loving energy in them – all designed to make them easier to look at, recognise and bond with.
CLEAN AND CLEAR CUT TAROT CARDS FOR YOU!
Our Judgement card has been declared a favourite by someone very experienced in Tarot and she has many decks, she says our card is one of the best representations of Judgement she has seen.
Of course, you can see all of the images on our Major Arcana page and hopefully all of them will appeal to you.
The Minor Arcana (the pip cards) would be described as being semi-scenic which means they are not full blown pictures; you will see that each of the images are designed to indicate its mood. They have been described as being ‘very special’.
This picture is of the ‘Court Cards’ from the suit of Cups. With the use of different colours for each of the four different Court Card families you will easily recognise any of them when they come up in a reading.
Remember you can have a really good look at the images and the meanings of all the Minor Arcana before you buy. This isn’t always the case with tarot decks and it is good to know exactly what you are purchasing.
After selling many decks all over the world, one of the key feedback messages is how delighted customers are with the presentation of the deck when it arrives. The deck itself is simply wrapped in cellophane, so Patricia hand-wraps the deck in gold tissue paper, adds a meanings leaflet, signs a business card and places them all in the beautiful brocade bag you have chosen and it is shipped in a simple padded envelope. There are no reams of plastic, cardboard or excess packaging. Leaving all that out means that YOU get a beautiful brocade bag to keep your deck safe in and and a few trees have been saved! How good is that?
What else? You will receive a leaflet with short meanings to each of the cards in the deck and two spread diagrams which will get you started on your first readings if you are new to tarot!
And last, but not least, the deck is infused with Reiki Harmony energy to give it the best start as it is shipped on its way to you.
All in all The Tarot House Deck has been treated with love since the pencil first hit the acrylic paper on this amazing journey through 78 beautiful tarot cards. If you buy this for yourself (or a friend) you are purchasing more than a luxurious set of Tarot cards, you are purchasing an amazing experience.
Here, Patricia explains the process of wrapping and sending our deck to our lovely customers.
The hardest decision you will have to make is which colour bag to choose!
